Breakfast quiche with bacon is a simple quiche recipe using a premade crust. We use white cheddar cheese, dill, and chives to pack flavor into this easy egg bake.

Ingredients

  • 1 9 inch deep dish frozen pie crust
  • 4 large eggs
  • 3/4 cup half and half
  • 1 teaspoon Kosher salt
  • ½ teaspoon freshly cracked black pepper
  • 4 slices bacon cooked and diced
  • 1 cup white cheddar cheese shredded
  • 1 tablespoon chopped dill
  • 1 tablespoon chopped chives

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Prep the egg mixture. Take a medium bowl and whisk the eggs. Whisk in the Half and Half, 1 teaspoon of salt, and 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper. 
  • Add the bacon and cheese. Spread the cooked bacon onto the pie crust. Sprinkle the shredded cheese on top. Pour the egg mixture into the pie crust.
  • Bake. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Cover the quiche for the last 10 minutes of baking time if the crust is getting too brown. Transfer the quiche to a rack and let cool for 15 minutes
  • Serve. Sprinkle the dill and chives on top of the quiche.
