- 1 9 inch deep dish frozen pie crust
- 4 large eggs
- 3/4 cup half and half
- 1 teaspoon Kosher salt
- ½ teaspoon freshly cracked black pepper
- 4 slices bacon cooked and diced
- 1 cup white cheddar cheese shredded
- 1 tablespoon chopped dill
- 1 tablespoon chopped chives
Preheat the oven. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
Prep the egg mixture. Take a medium bowl and whisk the eggs. Whisk in the Half and Half, 1 teaspoon of salt, and 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper.
Add the bacon and cheese. Spread the cooked bacon onto the pie crust. Sprinkle the shredded cheese on top. Pour the egg mixture into the pie crust.
Bake. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Cover the quiche for the last 10 minutes of baking time if the crust is getting too brown. Transfer the quiche to a rack and let cool for 15 minutes
Serve. Sprinkle the dill and chives on top of the quiche.
